  • implement state-of-the-art approaches for identifying those at risk of osteoporosis and achieving timely diagnosis.

  • briefly summarize the commonly used thresholds and treatment guidelines for patients with osteoporosis.

  • list factors that should be considered when selecting a pharmacological agent for a patient with osteoporosis.

  • prescribe (and/or administer) treatments for osteoporosis with greater confidence.
